finds documents containing the words "paper" or "oklahoma"

Same as above

ffinds documents containing the words "paper" and "oklahoma"

paper NOT oklahoma

finds documents containing the words  "paper" but not "oklahoma"

(paper NOT oklahoma) AND WAIS

finds documents containing the words  "WAIS" plus "paper " but not "oklahoma"

finds documents which contains words beginning with "web"
